As a matter of fact, we do. We've got a couple of new products -- a book and a calendar.
The book is called Reservations Required ... Culinary Secrets of Las Vegas' Celebrity Chefs. This is an oversized (9X12) full-color cookbook-souvenir guide that'll run you $24.95. The author, Sarah Lee Marks, visited with 26 chefs at the top restaurants in town, including Julian Serrano at Picasso, and got their stories, which she tells in one-page chef profiles. She also got two of the chefs' favorite recipes for a total of 52 dishes with which you can recreate a Las Vegas fine-dining experience. In addition, the full-page food photography is spectacular. It's a great gift for anyone who enjoys eating at the top-shelf Las Vegas restaurants.
The calendar is one of those 365-day desk jobs, full of archival and contemporary photos of Las Vegas, which has been produced to coincide with the city's centennial celebration. It was put together by Donn Knepp, a long-time photographer for the Las Vegas News Bureau. It's an entertaining and enlightening day-by day journey through Las Vegas history -- a fine way to get a daily little Vegas fix throughout 2005. This is a great gift for your husband and it's only $14.95.
We'll announce that we're taking orders for both products in the Advisor, and we'll let you know when the cookbook and the calendar are back from the printer in Las Vegas Advisor Lite.
