Anthony Curtis is 47 years old. He's unmarried and has two children.
He got his start at the age of 16: When a family friend gave him an early book on card counting, the Curtis destiny was sealed. As soon as he turned 21, he moved to Las Vegas and immediately became a card counter, coupon hustler, and all-around scuffler, which provided the original inspiration for the Las Vegas Advisor, which he launched in 1983.
Meanwhile, he hooked up with Stanford Wong and his team of tournament professionals; Anthony's top tournament wins include a $76,000 World Matchplay Blackjack Championship, a $125,000 Atlantic City Craps Championship, a $50,000 Las Vegas Keno Championship, and a $60,000 Las Vegas Blackjack Championship. His share of the winnings provided the seed money for Huntington Press, which today has 16 employees, 50 books, and more than 200 issues of the Advisor under its belt.
In short, Anthony Curtis has been involved in the Las Vegas scene for more than 25 years. He's eaten more Las Vegas buffets, prime rib, steak, and lobster meal deals, and shrimp cocktails than anyone else on Earth. Most importantly, he's maintained his reputation for fairness, honesty, and integrity in the face of everything that Las Vegas has had to throw at him.
