Sorry. We're afraid not.
We addressed the issue of the former Wet 'n' Wild waterpark and what was going on in terms of it finding a new home in Las Vegas last September. Back then, the answer was: nothing.
With the warmer weather approaching, several people wrote in to ask about it, so we dropped another line to the very helpful former general manager of the Las Vegas site, who still works for Palace Entertainment, the California company that owns the Wet 'n' Wild brand. He regretted to inform us that even six months later, there's no word of a new site here in town, although he's still hopeful that something will materialize and has promised to keep us informed.
If we hear anything, we'll be sure to pass it on, but our optimism is waning.
