Question of the Day - 20 June 2006

Q:
Can you tell me what are the roads in Las Vegas that divide street addresses by north, south, east, and west?
A:

The street numbering system is divided by the following streets:

Westcliff Drive, US 95, Fremont Street, and Charleston Boulevard account for the north-south designation.

Las Vegas Boulevard South divides the east-west streets, from the far south end of the Strip up to near the Stratosphere. From there, Main Street determines the east-west dividing line all the way to the North Las Vegas border. From there, Goldfield Street divides east and west.
