This is definitely among the top QoD FAQs: We did a quick count and we've received more than 30 questions along these lines over the past year alone. The reason we didn't tackle it until now is that it was a huge job to get to the bottom of all the various shuttles and their schedules and rules. Plus, since no one else seems to have them, we also took the liberty of designing our own printable maps for each route, which include other useful information about where the pick-up points are, for example, and whether you need to be a hotel guest or to make prior reservations to use the shuttles.
The short answer to the question is that Coast casinos, the Harrah's group, Silverton, Hard Rock, Palms, Red Rock, Palace Station, Green Valley Ranch, and Sam's Town all operate some kind of shuttle service between sister properties and/or the Strip, the airport, and major shopping malls. In addition, TI and Mirage have a free tram linking the two properties, as do Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. For full details about all of these services, visit our constantly updated Transportation section (under "Shuttles & Car Rentals") and select the "Free Shuttle" option. From there you can see our own information pages and maps for each route, plus links, where they exist, to the casinos' own shuttle pages (worth checking against as schedules are subject to change).
In the Shuttles & Car Rentals section, you'll also find information about the Las Vegas Strip Trolley. While it's not a free service, it's an interesting way to get around and links to other off-Strip locations, such as the Las Vegas Hilton and the Las Vegas Convention Center, which aren't serviced by free shuttles.
Finally, you'll also find a whole heap of other Useful Information in there including details about the airport, a link to check the status of your flight, information for handicapped visitors, and our Taxi Tips feature. Check it out...
