Question of the Day - 25 October 2006

Q:
We read LVA every day and love it. We are wondering how many subscribers you have, where they are from (we are located in Toronto, Canada), and if you know how many daily readers you have. Keep up the great work!!!
A:

Firstly: Thanks! We fully intend to.

Now, to answer your question, we currently have approximately 15,500 LVA subscribers. Of these, 9.96% are based in California, followed by 8.08% Nevadans, and 7.75% from Illinois. Ohio, Michigan (where Anthony Curtis hails from originally), Texas, and Wisconsin also rank high in terms of paid members. Canadians, like yourselves, account for 1.82% of our readership, with the U.K. contributing the next most overseas subsribers (35 or 0.23%). We also have readers in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia, Austria, Japan, Singapore, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Turkey, Mexico, Taiwan, the Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Greece, Spain, Guam, New Zealand, France, Sweden, Finland, Brazil, Philippines, and the Armed Forces.

In terms of Web site readership, the figures are obviously much higher, with around 180,000 unique sets of eyeballs stopping by each month to read Today's News, or Question of the Day (which has about 10,000 readers a day), or Frugal Fridays, or to post on the forums or check a buffet price or look up a tournament or find out the latest slot club promotions or print out a coupon (members only). They're also geographically even more diverse, spanning India to Romania, South Africa to Peru. Thanks to all of you who visit and who send in questions or post your reviews -- keep it coming with all the great feedback and suggestions for how to make our site even better, and we'll keep doing our best to respond.
