Question of the Day - 04 February 2007

Q:
How does one get a job with the Las Vegas Advisor -- doing the research for the questions submitted?
A:

There aren't any full- or part-time job openings at the moment and there probably won't be for the foreseeable future. Neither the QoD manager (who has 10 years into Las Vegas media and information), nor the main researcher/writer (who's been researching and writing about Las Vegas for more than two decades) have any plans to give up this great gig.

That said, we're always looking for experts in anything and everything having to do with Las Vegas and gambling, from accommodations to video poker, from blackjack to Vegas film and TV, from comps to transportation, from coupons to special events. We're very open to contributions, suggestions, concepts, brainstorms, even questions for which you have the answers. The pay is decent for published material and our appetite for ideas is voracious -- it's a big job providing in-depth answers to such a variety of questions every single day of the year.

So if you think you have something to offer, feel free to contact us via the Submit a Question button at the bottom of this page. We can't promise to respond to everyone, but if your proposal strikes our fancy, you'll be the first to know.
