The best seafood buffet in town is the Village Seafood Buffet at the Rio. It's a dinner-only buffet (Sun.-Thurs. 4-10 pm, Fri. & Sat. 3-11 pm) that's completely dedicated to seafood (unlike the many all-purpose buffets that put out special seafood spreads on various nights of the week). It ain't cheap: The price went up a couple bucks recently to $36.99.
However, even though it's Las Vegas' best seafood buffet doesn't mean it's the place to go for legs.
If all your "crazed" wife wants is king crab, we'd recommend the Planet Hollywood Spice Market Buffet. There, she'll find a big tray of hot cracked king crab legs that's frequently replenished (if the tray looks low, she should hover to the side of the seafood serving island till a new tray arrives, then pounce). Nearby are also lemon wedges, cocktail sauce, and melted butter if she likes. In short, this is an all-you-can-eat king crab fest for $24.99, less than 12- to 16-ounce king crab dinners in almost any restaurant you can name throughout the U.S.
The Spice Market Buffet serves dinner daily from 4-10 pm. If you do give it a try, be sure to let us know how she liked it.
