We'd like to, but we can't.
In the 3/21/07 QoD on the Trump Tower, we wrote, "The tower is scheduled to open for New Year's Eve this year," meaning last Dec. 31.
You heard a few months later that the debut was due in February or March.
And for this answer, we called over to the Trump sales office and asked, but were told that there's no set date yet. Our contact there said, "Possibly sometime in April or May."
Trump's plans for the Las Vegas tower were announced in August 2004. The $3 million sales office opened in April 2005. Ground was broken on July 12, 2005. At that time, we reported that the tower was scheduled to open in "late 2007." So it looks like the whole thing is running a little behind schedule.
How far behind we won't know till a grand opening day is announced. As soon as it is, we'll report it in Today's News.
