For this question, we turned to an expert whose name many of you will be happy to see: Arnold Snyder.
Arnold is the author of numerous informative and entertaining books on blackjack, poker, and Internet gambling (and one fantastic as-yet-unpublished gambling novel); he was also the publisher of the long-running Blackjack Forum quarterly magazine.
He’s resurfaced recently to work on an upcoming guidebook for Huntington Press called Strip Club Crawler -- A Guide to Sexy Las Vegas Entertainment, which will be released early next year. The book will primarily feature up-close-and-personal reviews of all of the strip clubs in Las Vegas (and there are dozens of them), with information on the overall quality of the shows and the dancers; which clubs are the locals’ favorites and which are strictly for tourists (and why); the door charges, drink costs, and tipping policies in the various clubs (and tricks the locals use to have the most fun for the lowest cost); and what you can expect in the VIP room if you spring for a "private show" with a dancer.
In addition to covering all the topless bars and nude clubs in greater Las Vegas, Snyder will also review the sexiest casino shows and nightclubs, the European-style (topless) pools that many casinos now have for adults only, and erotically themed special events.
Some of the reviews of topless shows that will appear in Arnold's book (in a racier form) will be featured in upcoming issues of the Las Vegas Advisor.

For some dancers, I'm sure you're just seeing their naturally endowed breasts and nipples. They're young. They're perky. That's how they look.
Many dancers and showgirls in Las Vegas, however, have had breast-enhancement surgery. In most cases, dancers working in casino showrooms have this surgery done in such as way as to appear very natural. This is unlike dancers in strip clubs, who often go for much larger breast sizes that rarely look like the real thing.
Doctors who specialize in cosmetic breast enhancement can also enhance the nipples with collagen injections, which make them appear to be permanently erect. Collagen injections are very popular with women who want fuller lips, but the procedure is also offered for nipple enhancement. In addition, creams on the market can cause the nipples to become erect for periods of up to four or five hours.
I doubt any statistics are available on what percentage of topless showgirls have had breast surgery or collagen injections, but I'm sure it's fairly high. The next time you're in Vegas, look up Physicians -- Plastic Surgery in the Yellow Pages. There are about a hundred local practitioners and firms that specialize in this.
