Q:
I know the Harrah's resorts have stopped selling the Las Vegas newspaper and I would like to know if the Harrah's resorts plan to start re-selling this newspaper. I enjoy reading this paper when I come to town.
A:
Harrah’s spokesman Gary Thompson says his company "might" bring the Las Vegas Review-Journal back "at some point." The decision to yank it was based, he continues, on the fact that over 90% of Harrah’s Vegas guests are from out of town. "They’re really not interested in what’s going on in the news in Las Vegas," he says, adding that a survey of players showed that they preferred USA Today.
