Every so often we get a QoD that forces us to admit defeat. This is one of those occasions. We polled Las Vegas historians, academics, and old-timers, and nobody could put a name to the wizened face.
The gentleman in question appears to be a Desert Inn fixture circa 1960 and one of the photos also shows him with PGA legend Julius Boros. But there's no way of "running a make" on the guy short of poring over all 343 photos in UNLV's Wilbur Clark Collection. (Clark was the longtime owner of the Desert Inn.) Even that might not do the trick. Chalk it up as another Vegas mystery. Unless anyone out there in QoDland can help...
