We certainly do. Having just completed our monthly call-around to every buffet in town for the LVA newsletter, checking times, prices, specialty nights and so on, we were pleasantly surprised by what we found in the way of all-day plays.
It was a few months back that Excalibur and MGM Grand pioneered the way by offering a fixed price for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The experiment was evidently a success, with other properties following suit, including Mandalay Bay, the Orleans, Luxor, Palace Station, and Stratosphere.
However, when we came to do last month's calls we were told that Mandalay Bay and the Orleans would be discontinuing their deals at the end of September and that Palace Station would be raising the price of theirs by $4. Not so! Calls this month revealed that Palace Station's all-day play remains priced at $19.99, while, due to popular demand, MBay and the Orleans are extending their deals for the foreseeable future. Not only that, but Circus Circus and the Tropicana have also entered the fray, bringing the total number of buffets that are offering an all-day pass to nine. Here they all are:
