Question of the Day - 20 October 2009

Q:
We will be coming to Vegas from 10/17 to 10/24. We love anything to do with Halloween. We would like to know what places in Vegas have something special going on for Halloween this year?
A:

It would be quicker to tell you which places don't have anything going on!

Halloween is one of the bigger party weekends in this city where every weekend's an excuse for a party. At one end of the spectrum you'll find family-friendly activities, including pumpkin-carving events, trick or treating, and haunted houses; at the other end, you'll find the scarier attractions like Fright Dome at Circus Circus, and a whole host of parties and balls in bars, nightclubs, and gentlemen's clubs. Again, these range in their degree of hardcore-ness, with the annual Fetish and Fantasy Ball at the Hard Rock and the Carnal Carnival at Rio's VooDoo Lounge both being strong contenders this year for the most extreme festivities.

You can find details on all this year's Halloween events and attractions, plus suggestions on where to get costumes and accessories, in our dedicated Halloween feature in Special Events.
