Q:
I will be visiting Las Vegas in a few weeks, with a friend that keeps Kosher. Do any of the major Strip resorts have restaurants that offer Kosher meals? Are there any Kosher restaurants in Las Vegas and if so, what and where are they?
A:
There are no kosher restaurants in any of Las Vegas' hotel-casinos, although there are a couple of kosher cafés. There are a few kosher restaurants in town, however:
- Adar Pizza is a dairy and fish restaurant at 318 W. Sahara (just west of the Strip) specializing, as the name suggests, in pizza.
- The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf chain has numerous outlets in Las Vegas, including one in the Venetian, one in Palazzo, and one in the Palms.
- Haifa is a Mediterranean restaurant at 855 E. Twain which serves lunch and dinner for dine-in, take-out, and delivery.
- Kosher on the Go was a new discovery in the course of researching this answer, although they've been at 3250 W. Ali Baba for four years, we learned. You can dine in, but their main business is delivery, including to the majority of Strip hotels (both for guests and for when they hotels are in need of kosher catering). The minimum delivery charge is $25, unless your order is substantial.
- The Panini Euro Café located at 2521 S. Fort Apache Rd. specializes in Mediterranean-style cuisine, serving breakfast, salads, sandwiches, pasta etc.
- Sababa Grille, located at 3220 S. Durango Dr., serves Israeli cuisine and deli sandwiches.
- Lastly, The Village Steakhouse at 9440 W. Sahara Ave. serves modern American and Asian-fusion cuisine. Note that this restaurant is no longer open for lunch.
For more details on all these eateries, including hours and menu urls, visit our Dining* section and select "Kosher" from the "Other" drop-down menu.
*Our apologies for the current slow loading of this page: It's on account of the enormous number of restaurants in Las Vegas. We're in the process of redesigning our whole Dining feature, but it's a couple of weeks off being ready, so please bear with us in the meantime.

And another:
"This is an interesting site for info on kosher:

A good idea from a reader:
"Diners around the country can find some Indian restaurants that are certified kosher. It might be worth checking out if any Indian places in Las Vegas are kosher." [Ed: You can find Indian restaurants listed under "Other Ethnic" cuisine in our Dining section.]
