Question of the Day - 28 February 2010

Q:
IGT used to display the "Last Jackpot" payout on their Megabucks website (at least under "Nevada"), but they appear to have stopped doing that recently. Why? I always liked to see that information.
A:

We took a look at IGT's site and, although we would volunteer that it's not as easy to navigate as it could be, we did find the page that we think you're looking for. Click here for the "All Last Jackpots" nationwide listings. We're not sure how up-to-date this page is, however, since the last recorded Megabucks jackpot in Nevada is listed as being at Bellagio on Dec. 28, 2009, but a 36-year-old mechanical engineer from Colorado there for the U.S. Bowling Congress open championship hit Megabucks for over $10 million upon arrival at Reno airport last week. There are no Megajackpots recorded anywhere for 2010 as yet in fact, so we're figuring it needs an update.

If you're interested in seeing the current levels of all the IGT Megajackpot games in Nevada, you can find them right here on this site.
