Question of the Day - 21 June 2010

Q:
I will be returning to Vegas in late June. Does anyone offer video poker lessons? There are so many different games, how does one choose?
A:

While many Las Vegas casinos offer free instruction on table games*, including blackjack, craps, roulette, and Texas hold'em, South Point is the only property we know of that offers video poker lessons. However, what is lacked in quantity is made for in quality, since these are free lessons from none other than the video poker master himself, Bob Dancer, who teaches every Tuesday at both beginner and intermediate level, with a different game profiled each week. Click here for the upcoming schedule through mid-August. He can explain the different games and pay schedules to you and recommend what to play, depending on your personal preferences.

*Note: We confess it's been awhile since we've had the chance to update this page, so call ahead to make sure a class still exists before making a special journey.

For a special offer on Bob Dancer's best-selling video poker tututorial products, check out the Ultimate Video Poker Bundle at ShopLVA.com. And for Mac users, we now have the OpVP Video Poker Software for Mac.
