Question of the Day - 27 February 2011

Q:
I read in the Las Vegas Advisor newsletter that there are no coupons for accommodations. In 2010, there were 13 hotel-stay coupons with 12 2-for-1s and one for a $7.77 rate. What gives? I've been a member for several years and never before seen zero.
A:

We took the room coupons out of the Member Rewards Book for a couple of reasons. One is that MRB room offers aren't used by as many members as other offers, such as food and shows. So leaving them out freed up space. But the main reason was that room coupons work very well online and those that we were offered this year are now available in that format.

Most of last year's room deals were from Station Casinos. This year Station has a much better representation in the MRB, but they decided not to make rooms part of it. We currently have room deals at Golden Gate, Gold Spike, and the excellent offer on the Cabana suites at El Cortez. Also, we expect to soon have offers up for Hard Rock and Terrible's, then we'll turn our attention to picking up new properties.

Here's how to access and download the offers. Log in to the members section of LasVegasAdvisor.com using your assigned username and password. You will land on a page titled "Navigation Menu." Below the title there's a link to "Member Rewards Online." Click on the link to access all of the current MROs.
