Yes, there are indeed plans for several LVA smartphone apps and we actually ran a Reader Poll on that very subject last year, canvassing you for feedback about what apps you'd be most interested in seeing developed.
The results gave us some good ideas, and we have more of our own, both for gambling-oriented applications and for all kinds of other useful visitor information. We were actually approached by a third party, too, who was interested in developeing iPhone apps specifically, but they flaked out and we've just been too busy with other projects lately to dedicate the necessary time and manpower to this area.
We appreciate how many useful apps we could be developing, however, and are frustrated at not being in a position to pursue this right now; hopefully, it won't be too long before we'll be able to turn our attention to completing the mobile version of our website (which is half-built), and to building specific LVA-branded apps. Watch this space!
