The only gay nightclub we know of that's sort of in a casino is KRAVE, the long-established LGBT club in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, which hosts nightly events and is home to regular outrageous parties and promotions. It's an "anything can happen"-type place: Lady Gaga showed up out of the blue prior to her recent concert at MGM Grand and played a free gig, for example.
Revolution Lounge at the Mirage has been hosting "Closet Sundays," an LGBT night, for well over a year now. We haven't checked it out, but have heard it's a magnet for many Strip performers (think: Cirque, etc.) and apparently the scene can get pretty wild.
The only other specifically gay-oriented events we can think of in casinos are pool parties, with Mirage also being home to "Heaven" at Bare Pool Lounge, back for its second season. For this monthly event, which features live performances, DJs, and celebrity appearances, the pool is covered and transformed into a dance floor. The party starts at 10 p.m. on Saturday, with future dates (you missed May 7) confirmed so far for May 28, June 18, July 2, August 6, and September 3. Cover charge varies; must be 21+.
Luxor's Temptation Sundays pool party, Las Vegas' first gay pool party, returns for 2011 after two successful seasons. It launches May 22 and is hosted by J.Son of Naked Boy News, with music by DJ Axis. The cover's $20, $10 for locals (free before 2 p.m.). Luxor, along with Paris, and the new Rumor resort, are Las Vegas' three most openly gay-friendly properties, by the way, and market specifically to the LGBT crowd. Plus there's the all-gay, all-male Blue Moon resort.
