Question of the Day - 31 July 2011

Q:
What happened to Danielle Demski? She is no longer hosting the Vegas Minute.
A:

Ms. Demski’s final "Vegas Minute" gig (which can still be seen at Vegas.com) was a Las Vegas Mob Experience preview that aired June 23. Not to worry: She’s caught on as a correspondent for TV Guide Network, for whom she has covered the Daytime Emmys (held at the Las Vegas Hilton) and the Miss USA pageant. A former beauty queen herself, Demski – 2004’s Miss Arizona -- is no stranger to the runway, in addition to holding a journalism degree from Arizona State University.

She’s also pursuing an acting career, having just wrapped her third film, the family-themed pioneer drama Mattie. Demski’s movie debut, a gay-themed adaptation of The Pit and the Pendulum, reached DVD earlier this year – for those of you who want to see Demski lock lips with actress Amy Paffrath. (It appears to be a popular YouTube clip.) In between, she shot the $4 million fantasy drama Tranced.

We dropped Ms. Demski a line but haven’t heard back from her. If she’s got additional updates on her activities of late, we’ll be sure to pass them along.

Update 01 August 2011
A long-time subscriber wrote in with this additional info: "I'm not sure if you are just looking for movie info or not, but I have seen Danielle recently in East coast TV ads for uBid.com or some other sort of online auction/bidding site."
