The Las Vegas World Beer Fest was announced some months back and was due to debut October 13 in the space behind Bally's and Paris. Envisioned as a year-long celebration of international brews, the event's website promised food vendors, live entertainment, and 500 different beers per week.
However, since the initial announcement there's been a defeaning silence and if you click the link above, you'll see a message about the event being "delayed." We called the box office, which is apparently located in Quebec, Canada, and were told by a helpful phone representative that the whole event has been canceled and that any existing ticket holders have already been refunded. If you have a ticket and haven't received a refund, let us know.
