Question of the Day - 17 March 2012

Q:
With the Imperial Place closing what is the future of the Auto Collection. I know many of the collectable cars have already been sold off including the Dusenberg room.
A:

Fear not, car lovers! We dropped a line to the folks at the IP (which, we should clarify, is not closing, but will undergo a major remodel as part of the Linq project), and were informed that Auto Collections, which remains the world's largest classic car showroom, with some 100 vehicles representing a collective value of approximately $100 million, "will not be affected by the transition."

As has always been the case, all of the vehicles in the showroom are avaialble for purchase, so the cars come and go regularly. Click here for the photo galleries on their Facebook page.

The Auto Collections, located on the fifth level of the hotel's self-parking garage, is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and admission is $8.95 for adults and $5 for seniors and children 12 and under; children under 3 are free.
