As of July 1 of this year, Terrible's Casino officially became Silver Sevens, following its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and the completion of a year-long $5 million renovation. Through a licensing agreement, certain casinos formerly owned by the Herbst family, including the Terrible's property in Las Vegas, continued to operate under the family name for a year, but now new owners Affinity Gaming have completed the transition to a totally new identity for the off-Strip property, having donated the familiar Terrible's cowboy neon sign to downtown's Neon Museum.
While there's inevitable attrition to deals in our Member Rewards Book during the course of a calendar year (look for coupons marked with "See Terms & Conditions" in the online list for updates), the good news is that yes, both of our deals for the former Terrible's property are being honored by the new owners, so feel free to take advantage of the twofer buffet offer (also good for 50% off for one diner), and the gaming bonus (2-1 payoff on first blackjack, up to $25 bet) at the newly spruced-up casino.
