Just wondered how many acres of land the larger casinos on the Strip occupy? Seems like MGM Grand and Caesars Palace would have the most but maybe not. I always think about it when I visit.

Leaving aside CityCenter, which is a conglomeration of casino, hotels and condos – with Aria not listed separately -- here are the footprints of some of the major players on the Strip, as recorded by the Clark County Assessor. Those with fewer than 10 acres are unlisted:
- Bally’s Las Vegas: 29.6 acres
- Caesars Palace: 66.2 acres
- Circus Circus: 68.35 acres
- Flamingo: 19.4 acres
- Harrah’s: 17.9 acres
- Mandalay Bay: 118.9 acres
- Excalibur/Luxor: 108 acres (the two properties are registered as one with the Clark County assessor)
- MGM Grand: 91.8 acres
- The Mirage: 77 acres
- Monte Carlo: 24 acres
- New York-New York: 20 acres
- Palazzo: 43.6 acres
- Paris-Las Vegas: 24 acres
- Planet Hollywood: 11.8 acres
- Riviera: 26.4 acres
- Sahara/SLS Las Vegas: 17.5 acres
- Treasure Island: 19.5 acres
- Tropicana: 35.1 acres
- Venetian: 43.6 acres
- Wynn Las Vegas/Encore: 183.6 acres*

So, despite the triple-digit size of Mandalay Bay, Steve Wynn still has bragging rights to the biggest package of land on the Strip.
