Summerlin isn’t incorporated; it’s a master-planned community that lies both within and without Las Vegas proper. The City of Las Vegas had, as of July 1, 2013, some 606,762 residents. The most recent population numbers for North Las Vegas and Henderson are 227,585 and 265,679, respectively.
