We will be in Vegas the week of Veterans Day, Nov. 10 thru 15th. Are any casinos doing anything special for members of the military, past and present? Thank you!

Many attractions, activities, shows and hotels around town offer an ongoing year-round discount to members of the military, usually to the tune of around 10 percent, but this Veterans Day here are some of the additional gestures of thanks being extended around town:
- Veterans and active members of the military may receive a complimentary meal on Nov. 11 at any of the following casino buffets, upon presentation of a valid active/veterans ID: Fiesta Henderson; Fiesta Rancho; Gold Coast; Green Valley Ranch; Orleans; Palace Station; Rampart; Red Rock; Sam's Town; Santa Fe Station; Silver Sevens; South Point (one additional guest may also eat for free); Suncoast; Sunset Station; Texas Station; Westgate Las Vegas (plus, one companion guest also receives 25% off).
In addition, here are some other dining offers:
- El Cortez: From noon to 6 p.m. Nov. 11th Club Cortez members can enjoy free While Castle cheeseburgers while playing slots and table games.
- Summerlin's Honey Salt will be honoring the military throughout November, with any retired or active personnel with valid ID eligible to receive 15% off their bill.
- Made L.V. in Tivoli Village is extending a similar 15%-off dining discount throughout November.
- On Nov. 11 Hooters invites all veterans and current servicemen and women to enjoy a free meal, up to $10.99 in value, with any drink purchase, upon presentation of valid ID.
- BLT Burger, located at the Mirage, is showing its appreciation with a 50% discount to any veteran or member of the active military dining solo or in a party of two; parties of three or more may receive a 25% discount on the total check, including signature "spiked" milkshakes.
- On Veterans Day participating Krispy Kreme locations (including those in Circus Circus and Excalibur) are offering a free doughnut and small coffee to all active-duty, retirees, & vets.
- Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free meal from the "Create Your Own Combo menu" at On the Border Nov. 11.
- Outback Steakhouse is honoring America’s military with a free Bloomin’ Onion and complimentary non-alcoholic beverage Nov. 11. Also receive 15% off total purchase Nov. 12-Dec 31.
- If you're here a little after official Veterans Day, Golden Corral non-casino buffet is offering a free meal Nov. 17 from 509 p.m. for the 14th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation Monday Dinner, in honor of veteran, retired, and currently serving member of the military, National Guard, or Reserves.
- Current and former service members receive 50% off at Texas De Brazil Churrascaria on Nov. 11th.
- Receive a free meal at Twin Peaks with proof of service or other valid ID.
- Five Guys Burgers and Fries are offering all military personnel, active or retired, free Five Guys or Cajun Style Fries at all 10 Nevada locations Nov. 11.
- Wild Fire Casinos are offering 50% off meals at all locations, including Brewer's Cafe at Barley's Casino, on presentation of Boarding Pass and valid military I.D.
- Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops will recognize Veterans Day with a buy-one, get-one-free drink special Nov. 11 (plus enjoy a year-round 20 percent discount off total dining bill).
- BLT Burger will offer a 50% discount off total check for single diners or parties of two, or a 25% discount for parties of three or more.
- Today (Sunday, Nov. 9), McCormick & Schmick offers veterans a complimentary meal (reservations are recommended).
- Monday, Nov. 10, all Claim Jumper locations will offer complimentary lunch or dinner from a special menu of signature dishes to those who have been honorably discharged from the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, or Coast Guard. Verification of service is required.
Other Discounted Activities and Attractions:
- Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef Aquarium is offering discounted $10 admission November 9–11; 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., to all active and retired military personnel with valid ID, plus up to four dependents.
- CSI: The Experience at MGM Grand is offering 50% off to active and retired military personnel Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. (Last admission 8 p.m.).
- New York-New York's Big Apple Coaster has an ongoing offer for all active and retired military personnel, who receive $7 admission with a valid ID, good for up to two tickets.
- The new JFK Exhibition at the Tropicana is offering discounted $19.95 admission to members of the military, plus fire fighters, police, and paramedics (must show military or government ID).
- All active and retired military personnel receive complimentary admission with valid ID through Nov. 16 at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage. (Family members who carry dependent and spouse ID cards receive a $5 discount.)
