Question of the Day - 16 January 2015

Q:
At Boyd Gaming what is the difference between card-score points and slot points?
A:

Card-score points determine your tier level (Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald) and are accrued through play. "That may move up or down according to your play level," says Boyd Gaming spokesman David Strow, who stresses that the cards are honored at all Boyd-owned properties from coast to coast.

By contrast, slot points are redeemable for benefits through your B Connected card. One may earn more points on certain days, depending on whether promotions are in play. For instance, every Wednesday is "Young at Heart" day, which acts as a point-multiplier for players over 50. All ages can accrue accelerated slot points, of course, on days when Boyd offers a ten-times or five-times points promotion.
