Question of the Day - 06 November 2016

Q:
Do any Las Vegas buffets take reservations?
A:

Wouldn't it be nice if you could make a reservation at a buffet? All you'd have to do would be walk up to the cashier, state your name, and be shown to a table, in the usual fashion.

Well, you actually can make reservations at two Las Vegas buffets. The first is the Sterling Brunch at BLT Steakhouse at Bally's. Reservations aren't mandatory, but they're strong suggested, and you can reserve via OpenTable or on Bally's website (which sends you to OpenTable anyway).

The other, surprisingly, is Le Village Buffet at Paris. Why this one? Who knows! But if you want to beat the line, no matter how long it is, at lunch and dinner, reserve at OpenTable. Note, however, that you can't get same-day reservations. Perhaps more buffets will follow Le Village's lead.

At the highly popular Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars, you can beat the lines in two ways. One, check in at a FreshTxt kiosk at the buffet entrance, which holds your place in line and alerts you by text when it’s your turn to pay and enter. Two, if the line is extremely long and there's an open table, you can buy a line pass. Simply approach the cashier and ask if they're selling them; they cost $25 per person. (Yikes!)
