Question of the Day - 05 February 2017

Q:
Could you inform us of any beer festivals etc coming up toward the last 2 weeks of February and the entire month of March?
A:

February doesn’t appear to be a Beerfest month in Las Vegas; there’s nothing on the radar. We just missed the 7th Annual Winter Beer Fest at Aces & Ales on Nellis, Jan. 13-15, and Big Dog’s Brewing Company Winterfest, January 28 at the Draft House.

But March is St. Patrick’s month.

The biggest celebration is the 51st-annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in Henderson March 10-12, sponsored by the Southern Nevada Sons & Daughters of Erin. This year’s festival will feature Celtic entertainment by the Angry Brians, Finnegan’s Wake, Darby O’Gill and others. And beer!

It would also be wise to check out some of the local breweries (Ellis Island, Triple Seven at Main Street Station, Big Dog, Sin City, etc.) to see what’s brewing for St. Patrick’s.

Some some additional Beerfests in coming months:

The Great American Foodie Fest at Sunset Station in April (beer garden, carnival rides, and food, of course).

Vegas Uncork’d, multiple locations on the Strip April 27-30.

Great Vegas Festival of Beer in downtown Las Vegas April 7-8 (100+ breweries, 500+ craft beers, beer-inspired cuisine; here's the link for details.)

The 38th Annual San Gennaro Feast at Craig Ranch Park (North Las Vegas) May 10-14.

Big Dog's hosts year-round beer tastings, tapping parties, Brew School celebrations, Brewmaster dinners, and beer festivals in April, July, October, and January.
