A:
It wasn’t long ago that most of the major casinos offered live and up-close lessons on how to play all the table games, but the list keeps shrinking.
More lessons are available if you’re willing to go downtown or to the locals casinos, but we’ve confirmed crap lessons at the following four Strip casinos:
Circus Circus daily at 12:30 p.m.
Excalibur daily at noon and 8 p.m.
Luxor daily at noon.
Venetian Sunday-Friday 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.
Update 24 February 2017
"South Point also offers crap lessons."
Yes, we know about South Point, but we didn't include it, because it's not on the Strip proper. With transportation, South Point is a great place to go, for crap lessons or anything else.
And here's some good advice:
"Do not attempt to play craps after only having one casino lesson. You will not know what you're doing (so you could make dumb or wrong plays and lose a lot of money), but you'll be rushed to make your bets because this is a fast-moving game and the other players won't want the game to be held up by you. Before you play in a casino, you should play simulated craps games on the Internet for free or load a craps game onto your computer so you can play and practice at home."
