When Is Anthony Curtis on "60 Minutes?"

I saw the teaser for the "60 Minutes" show on the MGM cyber-attack. Was that Anthony Curtis in the clip? Is he on the show? When does it air?

Yes, that’s Anthony. He’ll be on the show that’s set to air this Sunday evening following the telecast of the final round of the Masters golf tournament. Here’s Anthony’s take on the experience.

"I’ve done a lot of high-profile TV, but never '60 Minutes,' which to me is the king of TV news shows. I’ve watched it since I was a kid, so having the opportunity to be on is sort of another level achieved. You know, a step or two above 'Bar Rescue.'

"Interestingly, they finally contacted me and it's a subject -- computer hacking -- that I'm not an expert on. But they wanted Vegas background and that I can do. Not to mention that, by chance, I was having dinner at Aria when the attack was launched and saw some of the fallout first-hand.

"I don’t know if this part will make air, but the stance I took was that the hackers are something akin to advantage gamblers, in that they know more about what they're doing than the casino people in charge of stopping them. Card-counting, anyone?

"Since I’ve seen the tease clip, I know I’ll be on. But for how long is anyone’s guess. The interview lasted well over an hour (it was at the College of Southern Nevada’s gaming lab), but I believe the segment is one of three on the show, so only 20 minutes total. Do I get a minute out of that? We’ll see soon enough."

We will be glued to the Masters, so this is some assurance that we won't miss "60 Minutes".  Not to mention I'll go in today and record it ahead of time.  Wow, yes, that is quite a step up in interview land.  

A zillion years ago I was in a segment of "20/20" "with" Geraldo Herrara, a story about an issue at the children's hospital where I was working.  Geraldo was big at the time, yay!  BUT, they did the whole segment ( me holding the baby, etc.) but Geraldo flew in hours later and they taped his part without me.  Grrr.  It actually did run on TV.

Cyber attacks

Given the havoc and devastation that cyber attacks wreak upon society ( especially of government systems or those that threaten our infrastructure), I have always felt that it should be elevated to an act of terrorism and as such be eligible for the death penalty.
And then use it.
