I was in Las Vegas during the flash flood on July 6th. Does any of that water make it to Lake Mead and does it have any impact of the drought?

I keep getting ads for "the world’s largest Hooters" coming to the Palms. Is the Hooters casino going to close? And since I have heard that the Hooters casino on Tropicana isn't making all that much money why open another one. Given the reason that I heard that the Hooters casino wasn't really a draw was that many cocktail waitresses wear skimpier outfits than Hooter Girls anyway. Doesn't seem like a good business decision.

When driving to Reno from California I see billboards boasting that a casino was voted best for this or that. Who is voting for these casinos? What organizations create these polls? Are these claims worth anything or just self-generated hype?

I’m curious to know if The Rio has begun any renovations to the exterior of the building. When I was there in March, I couldn’t help but notice the blue and red paint not looking so good. Also, the rooms were in need of updating. Any scoop is helpful! Love your work, by the way!

I am looking out from my hotel room at the Wynn golf course. Over the years I have probably had this view five or six times. I never see anybody playing the course, although I am sure it happens. So how many rounds of golf are played on the course in a year, what is par, how long is the course and how do you get to play it?

With the Vegas summer underway, can you tell me which hotels have in-room refrigerators where I can store my own cold drinks etc. and, at those that don’t, can I rent one and if so for how much?

I live in California and used to visit Las Vegas at least twice if not three times a year. Now with casinos near me, I have not been to Las Vegas in five years. How has the California casino market affected Las Vegas? Are there more yearly visitors to Vegas than in say 2008?
