When can we expect another James Grosjean article? I really enjoy reading him and am disappointed to click on his blog and find the same entry continuing.

Today we’re going to tackle a couple of separate but related queries received from different readers, including "Any word on what, if anything, might be replacing the closed Sirens show at TI?" and, "Did I hear that the Fashion Show Mall remodel may affect ’The Cloud’?"

I recently watched Viva Las Vegas and while Elvis & Ann-Margret were water skiing on Lake Mead I was surprised to see a "bathtub ring" around the lake! Does that mean the current drought goes back to the movie year of 1964?

I'll be heading out to Vegas during the World Cup. Are there any soccer-fanatic bars in Vegas where I should go to catch a game?

Your QOD regarding past casinos raised a few memories and a couple of questions in my mind. First, I recall a terrific breakfast at the Silver Slipper which I believe would have sat on the lot between the New Frontier and the Stardust, and one of your pictures included Silver City. How many other strip casinos disappeared that were not on the sites of current casinos? Thanks for another thought-provoking QOD.

Today, we’re going to answer two related questions in one, received from two different readers: "We are visiting Vegas in May and wondered about your evaluation of the High Roller at the Linq. Hours of operation and cost? Do you think it is worth the expense? How a about a day ride versus a night trip? Anything else we should consider?" And (a topical one, given our recent weather): "The High Roller is up and running, but I wanted to know if there is a wind-speed limit that shuts it down for safety reasons?"

Standing in front of the Bellagio at night with the Eiffel tower at my back while watching the beautiful fountains dance to the music is a favorite must-do for me on every trip to Vegas. It's magic that I think no one should miss! I'm curious, though, as to how much it costs the Bellagio to stage each presentation. Any idea?

Re: Hotel32 at Monte Carlo, I just read of it, having previously been unaware of its existence, and that despite monthly visits to Las Vegas for the last 12 years! Can you comment? What's the history?

I have a question not specifically about Las Vegas but it does includes Clark County, cattle and possibly the energy needs of Las Vegas sometime into the future. So in a roundabout way it could indeed involve Las Vegas. Intrigued yet? I have not seen any coverage of this from the mainstream media but can you possibly explain the situation that is going on at the Bundy Ranch which involves the BLM, Senator Harry Reid and his son Rory and a Chinese energy company’s solar plant and how the Bundy Ranch fits into all of this?
