What in your view does Las Vegas look like this year -- for closings and openings and any other trends that might be brewing?

With the announcement of Binion’s shutting down the hotel part of its downtown operations due to lack of business, are there any other places kicking around the idea of doing the same thing?

Which casinos do you think will be impacted the most when the CityCenter opens with its 5,000-plus rooms?

I will be in Las Vegas the first week in December and would love to see some of the off-Strip residential or commercial areas that are decorated for the holidays. I fly in and do not rent a car. Are there any places within walking distance or are shuttles available to take people to some of the holiday displays?

Whatever happened to La Cage at the Riviera?

Just returned from Vegas and it was depressing to see so much construction at a standstill. Anything positive to report for the near future.

Do you have an update on the Ultimate Sports Resort being built?

I remember a while back you guys posted a story about the Jockey Club and how it’s still standing while CityCenter is built around it. I posted a picture up on flickr of the Jockey Club and had a comment pop up... I want to make sure that my explanation was correct, that the reason was due to the Jockey Club having a couple thousand(?) owners?
