What is the philosophy with the "Daily Average" you mentioned in the 3/16 QoD? As an out of towner, when I visit, is it more advantageous for me to play heavily on two or three days instead of spreading the same amount of play over four or five days? I played more on our last visit than my friend, but he’s getting more offers and I suspect that that is the reason. Thanks!

I am a Las Vegas local and have been getting a good mailer every month from my play at some of the Stations casinos, mainly at Palace Station. But suddenly in March, the bounce-back amount in my mailer has really dropped down in amount to about one-half of what I usually get. What's going on there? Is it because they are in financial trouble?

If comps are based on average bet X time played X type of game, why do they always want to know what you bought in for and what you left with? The company line is to keep track of the black and purple chips but isn't there more to it than that?

With some of the casino companies currently struggling financially, even some rumored to be on the verge of bankruptcy, should I start reducing the comp balances I have on the player’s cards? Basically, am I at risk of losing these accrued benefits if bankruptcy is filed, or will the casino companies respond like the airlines and take care of their players?

While checking out the video poker schedules at one of the bars at the Encore, I asked the bartender what the play was to get comped for a drink. He said they don't comp drinks at the bars. I can get a comp drink when I play video poker on the floor, why not at the bar? Wynn allowed it at his other properties, what's the deal with the Wynn/Encore?

As a follow-up to the QOD of 8/26/08, I'm sure many couples play on one slot club card. Even though I have a Harrah's card in my name, I play on just my husband's card to maximize our credits/tier. If I hit a jackpot for more than $1,199 with his card in the machine, does it void the jackpot and am I in trouble?

Is it improper to give my comps such as free play to someone else? My friend and I go to different casinos in Tunica and almost always at different times. He could take my card and pin number and I could take his when we each go and claim the free play. How would the casinos view this, it would get a new player into the casino that would not normally have come there. Would it hurt our comps if each didn’t play much on the others card? We both are in the top tier of our respective casinos.

Living in Michigan I only get to Vegas once a year every October religiously. I am new to your Advisor so reading it brings me a new question. Most of the offers you highlight require you to sign up for the players club card to get the great offers. What if you already hold that casinos player club card are you still entitled to the special promotions? Visiting every year I already have most cards for the casinos I like. Am I still entitled to the Hooters new promo?
