With Britney Spears signing on for another two-year Las Vegas residency, I was wondering if her per-show income reported is hers exclusively -- does Caesars Entertainment pay all the other costs for backup singers, etc. associated with the show?

Nite Kings is my favorite lounge band, with long-standing gigs at Sam's Town Roxy Room and at The Orleans. I heard they were inducted into some local Hall of Fame. What can you tell us about this Hall of Fame, the history of the Nite King vocalists, and about their band (which includes a female drummer, rare to see)?

In classic Vegas style, the Westgate announced a Suzanne Somers one-year residency with great fanfare, which included renaming the theater after her, as well as a Suzanne spa, cosmetics store and an organic cafe. However they were quick to throw in the towel and quietly abandon everything "Suzanne" after just a few short months. I'll assume it all comes down to dollars and, at this stage of her career, she just wasn't the draw that someone thought she would be. But why wouldn't the Westgate (or any hotel/casino, for that matter) start with a much shorter residency first to determine how any star would draw before deciding to go "all in" on them? Or is that just typical Vegas hype at its best?

Interesting question concerning America's Got Talent and who did good. How about winners of American Idol. I know Carrie Underwood has done outstanding but to my knowledge not in Vegas. Taylor Hicks had a show for a time. Any others?
