With the recent commercial success of Imagine Dragons and The Killers (both Las Vegas bands who cut their teeth playing in town), how can a music-lover stay abreast of other bands playing around town who may be good enough to make it to the big time? (How awesome is would have been to see either of these bands before they got so popular...)

Several years ago, I was invited to the Magic Show in the lower levels of Caesars Palace. Although it is gone now, what was the history of that show and why was it closed?

Can you update us on the most recent "transformation" at the Gold Spike? My wife and I dropped in there last week, during the day and were a bit surprised to be staring at the "centrepiece" of what is apparently a new style of club...a very large bed!

(It's still a great show, despite the tragedy). And please forgive my morbid curiosity but is this the first time a performer has been killed during a live performance in Las Vegas? The nearest I can think of is Evel Knievel being severely injured jumping over the fountain at Caesars Palace.

I was sent an email from Living Social with a deal to stay at the Golden Nugget on the description on the deal, it stated that after July I had to pay for a nightly $5 "Fremont Street Experience Fee." Did you ever hear about this? Is this another way of saying "resort fee"?
