What has happened to the Scintas? Are they still performing, and if so, where?

I am reading the excellent Huntington Press publication, The First 100 -- Portraits of the Men and Women Who Shaped Las Vegas. While reading about Liberace and the cause of his death, it was touching to read that his family, his Las Vegas physician, and his Palm Springs physician all appeared to want Liberace to have a private and dignified closure to his life. It was very upsetting to read that before Liberace could be put to rest, his body was seized by the (then) Riverside County Coroner and autopsied, after which he told the world that Liberace had been carrying the HIV virus. Was this coroner obligated by law to autopsy the body? And if an autopsy was mandatory, did the results have to be shared with the world or could discretion have been used? It appears more like someone just wanted their 15 minutes of fame and didn't care how much damage they caused in the process of achieving that goal. If the coroner did act outside the boundaries of his position, did the family take any action against him for, at the very least, invasion of privacy? Every detail of someone's life does not have to be advertised to the world.

In 2003 we went to an afternoon show in the "igloo" outside of Lady Luck Casino. It was an awesome variety show called The Walkers. I believe it was a woman and her 2 or 3 brothers. Similar to the Scintas show. We met them after the show and were very surprised to learn that they were from our hometown of Butler, PA. In 2004 we returned to take friends to see this fun show and it was gone. We asked at the front desk, the concierge, and even the valets, and nobody had ever heard of them! We couldn't believe that not one employee remembered them or their great show. Do you know or could you find out what ever happed to The Walkers? Thank you in advance for researching our question. We really appreciate your time and trouble.

Whatever happened to Wayne Newton's brother Jerry? I know that they performed together for many years in the 1950s and '60s.

I have a question regarding your show coupons. Are you able to use the coupon to book show tickets ahead of time or do you just need to go to the box office the day of the show?

In 1985 we started going to Las Vegas. We used to go on gambler sprees and stay at the Riv, where we would see the show Crazy Girls with a girl names Joana (?) that we found out later was a man. The show was great - I would give it a 9 out of 10 -- but last year I took a friend expecting it to be good and it was terrible -- a 2 out of 10, only because the girls were beautiful. What ever happened to Jahana the impersonator MC? She/he was great.

I know this isn't exclusive to Las Vegas but have always wondered how is it that the nightclubs, pools, etc. are able to charge women less money to get in than men? Isn't this blatant discrimination?

We started going to Vegas in 1995. At that time there was a showgirl named Aki. It seemed at that time showgirls were very popular. If I remember right she even had her image painted on an airplane. What ever happened to her?

Today, we're killing two QoDs with one answer. Firstly: "Where has Clint Holmes gone? What has he been doing? Is he planning on becoming a headliner again in a Las Vegas casino?" And secondly: "I remember that piano bars were very popular at Strip hotel-casinos and in particular, loved listening to Denise Clemente. I haven't seen her playing anywhere in Las Vegas for some time and wonder where she is playing now."
