I’m an arcade freak from way back and my brother told me on my next trip to Vegas, I have to visit the pinball museum there. Can you tell me what it is, where it is, and who runs it?

I have never read anything about Kenny Kerr's "Boylesque" on Question of the Day. It played at the Silver Slipper and then I think the Stardust. I believe it was before Frank Marino’s "La Cage." Please inform some of us old Las Vegas patrons on this question.

I haven't seen or heard a lot of press from Garth Brook's opening show. How was it received?

I was in Las Vegas two weeks ago and bought an all-day pass for the three rides on the top of the Stratosphere. Which were great but when I was leaving one of the shop workers told me that they have a new ride approved for the near future where you can jump off the top and go all the way to the ground. Can you tell me if this is true, and when will it be open and just how it will work because I am ready to book my next trip back to Las Vegas.

I've been to Las Vegas about 25 times and, though I love the casinos, each time I go I like to find something new (non-gambling) to do. I've gone rock climbing, visited the Neon Boneyard, the Pinball Hall of Fame, and many other cool things. One thing I've always wanted to try is hot air ballooning, and I think between the views of the Strip and the mountains, Las Vegas would be perfect for that. Can you tell me if there are any companies in Vegas that do hot-air ballooning, and what they cost, how long it takes, what you see, and what else is involved?

I am thinking of accepting an invitation for New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. I understand that many shows go on hiatus around the holidays. Is there a place where I can find out which shows will be off of their normal schedules around NYE? I am especially interested in the kind of shows that Arnold Snyder reviews in his book, which I have found to be invaluable, even though I do not agree 100% with his evaluations. Even though I have been visiting Las Vegas for decades, this would be my first NYE in LV, and I would hate for poor planning on my part to interfere with maintaining a high SPW during my visit.

Can you tell me which, if any, topless shows in Vegas feature only "naturally endowed" dancers/performers? I recently saw Jubilee! at Bally's, and while all the showgirls girls were lovely and energetic, their rigid, cookie-cutter appearance was somehow unappealing. Sorry if I missed the answer to this in any previous posts or on the LVA site!
