I enjoy taking my family to Las Vegas several times a year and my kids love to swim. We live in Chicago and like to escape during the cold winter months but it's difficult to find nice hotels in Vegas that have indoor pools/whirpools. My first question is, can you provide and list of some "name" hotels near the strip that have indoor pools? Second, I know it's a desert climate, but there are a number of Las Vegas days that are just not suitable for outdoor pools, so why is it that these major hotels don't have indoor ones?

We'll be in Vegas for Halloween this year, and are having a hard time finding out if there are going to be any special shows or events going on that night. I understand that many of the nightclubs hold costume parties, but what else happens in Vegas for Halloween? The holiday just seems like such a natural fit for the city!

I proposed to my girlfriend in front of the Bellagio fountains and I would like to know if they keep track of what songs they play each day, because I would like to know what song was playing at the time. Before buying tickets for show, where can you find seating plans for O, Lance Burton etc.?

We used to enjoy visiting the Ocean Spray cranberry juice factory, the Kidd marshmallow factory, and the Ron Lee clown factory in Henderson. Are they still there? Landmarks have changed so much, we can't find anything.

Thank you for the recent answer on Death Valley. But how about something a little closer to Las Vegas? From reading the guidebooks, I see that the two big parks nearby are Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire. Which do you recommend?
