Battista's was the first restaurant my wife and I ate at on our first trip to LV in the '80s and we always try and go back once each trip. My question is who was/is Battista? He seems to have had his photo taken with every celebrity of the '60s and '70s. He seems to have thought he was quite the athlete.

A few years ago, there was a small casino-restaurant at (and this may be why I can't find the answer) the southwest corner of Paradise and Flamingo (at least I think that was the location) that had a wreck of an airplane just outside the main entrance. The plane had a double tail. Can you tell me the name of this place? You may save what is left of my sanity. Thank you. P.S. They served big, cheap hamburgers.

My family and I are going to be in Vegas next month for a vacation and in the past we have had trouble finding food late at night.
