I was playing at Terrible's last week and had a matchplay coupon out when I was dealt a blackjack. The pit boss instructed the dealer to pay me 3 for 2 on the chips I had bet, but only even money on the coupon. Was this the correct pay out? If so, is that the standard pay out when using a matchplay and being dealt a BJ in most Las Vegas casinos?

What's up with all the different kinds of video poker games? I swear, everytime I turn around, there's a new name I've never seen before. It seems to me it would be less confusing for players — and thus more profitable for game makers — if they just stuck to the basics, like Jacks, Deuces and Jokers, and Bonus.

Having been in Las Vegas recently, and seeing the many large areas of casinos now devoted to poker, my question is: How do the casinos make money on these games?

Settle an argument for us, please. My boyfriend claims that slot machines accept credit cards. I say they don't. Who's right?

Is there anywhere in Las Vegas where can I go to place my own bets, without having to go to a teller? I like to use a betting machine when I make my bets at a race track. No casino I've visited has machines to make self-serve bets. Along with making my own bets, I like to use the same machines to check my tickets before I throw them away. I don't watch each race that I bet, so I want to make sure my tickets are no good.
