During the WSOP, I imagine that there are many players in town who never enter any official events, but who are there for big games and easy marks. Has anyone ever written anything about this off-tournament action?

When preparing for our last Vegas trip I removed all the fifties in our bankroll and replaced them with hundreds or twenties. My husband questioned why. I heard $50s are considered bad luck in a casino and they will never pay you off with a $50. He didn't believe me. If true, how did this superstition start?
