I sure missed a once in a lifetime opportunity in 1958 while I lived in Las Vegas. I was offered to buy land way out on Flamingo Road, but I didn't do so. I also heard that some land out away from the city was going for $5 an acre. The question is: Roughly, what was the price of land around Las Vegas in those days, which incidentally was even before Howard Hughes started to buy land there?
