I really loved it when the Star Trek Experience was at the Las Vegas Hilton. It seemed to me that there were always a lot of people there, and to some, like me, it was the primary reason we came to Vegas. (1) What happened to The Experience? Why did Paramount yank it? And (2) What happened to the LV Hilton? After the ST:E left, it seemed the hotel-casino went downhill. What happened to this once proud property that once hosted Elvis' return?

How long is appropriate to wait for a drink while sitting at a slot machine? The other day I wound up spending an extra $40 at the machine while waiting for my drink order. So, how long is appropriate to wait after ordering before I move on?

Several years ago, the incomparable Debbie Reynolds bought a casino in Vegas, which failed. What happened that it wasn’t a success?

Is there still a Playboy Club in one of the hotel casinos just off the Strip? If so, where is it located? If not, what years was it in operation?

I seem to recall that Carl Icahn was given a deadline of August or September to cover up his his Strip monstrosity [Fontainebleau] to make it less dreadful. The deadline has come and gone without any sign of anything happening. What gives?

You said [in the November 25 QoD] MGM only sold one of the former Mirage resorts [Treasure Island], but what about the Golden Nugget? I'm pretty sure that was included in the MGM sale and was sold within four or five years of the original transaction.

Concerning the QoD on December 8 [about casinos aimed specifically at a Latino market]. My wife and I make the drive from Fresno to Las Vegas twice a year and we like to go through Death Valley. We often pass by a big sign for El Sueño, in Beatty, Nevada, and wonder about it. It appears to be an abandoned casino project. Was that aimed at Hispanics?
