I was reading David McKee's column about the Moulin Rouge and how so many in the Las Vegas area love the idea of bringing it back but no one will commit the cash because the original is in a bad area. Why not pitch to Derek Stevens the idea of bringing back the Moulin Rouge at the Las Vegas Club downtown?

A bit off the Las Vegas topic except I thought Caesars was going to run the casino, but do you have any history or update on the very troubled Baha Mar Hotel Casino in the Bahamas? Thanks for the excellent job you do.

Reading your fantastic reports on recent crime statistics, I didn't see the DUI numbers listed. Considering Uber and Lyft have been here a year now serving both tourists and us locals off the strip, it would be awesome to see a year over year decline in drunk driving justifying the future of this convenient and affordable alternative to the taxi cartels ... An article in the business section of the R-J on Saturday, October 1, about the grand opening of the American headquarters of the Australian slot manufacturing company Ainsworth, called its founder Len Ainsworth "the father of video poker." I was under the impression that that title belonged to Si Redd of IGT. Please explain the discrepancy.

Today's question on the Wizard of Oz (9/17/2016) brought to mind another answer that compared Las Vegas with other cities through history. I tried searching for it, but I couldn't find it. Or did I imagine it? If not, would you rerun it? Other readers might enjoy reading it again or for the first time.

Some photos of Fremont Street from the 1960s show the signage at the Las Vegas Club as, "Biff's Famous Las Vegas Club." Who the hell was Biff?

What's the status of the Desert Inn time capsule? My understanding is that it was buried on the resorts 50th anniversary in the year 2000, just a few weeks before Steve Wynn bought the place. It was scheduled to be opened in 2050 I think. Does Steve have it? Or did he just build The Wynn on top of it and forget about it?
