A lot of your readers probably don't remenber the Stardust, but it had an act that starred Bobby Berosini and 3 orangutans and 2 chimpanzees. After the Stardust closed, what happened to the act?

Who or which company is credited with developing the first video poker system? When and where was it first available to the public? What was the coin denomination to play?

I drove past a motel sign on the center divider of Las Vegas Blvd. near El Cortez. I think it said "Elvis slept here." Was that motel anything special and did Elvis really sleep there? I wish I had caught the motel name but I was driving and apparently I'm not good with multi-tasking :-(

My husband and I usually visit Las Vegas from Canada once a year and we have seen many changes over the past 15 years. This year we are bringing my father, who has not been there in that 15-year time frame. What have been the biggest changes in the intervening years? What are the best new things to put on Dad's "to-do" list and what are the remaining old favorites, now that places like the Sands, Stardust, and Frontier are gone? P.S. I love watching movies and TV shows shot in Vegas. I've noticed in the older films that people stood while playing slot machines. Now, almost every slot has a chair. When did this happen? Who started it? How fast did everyone else copy it?
