I would like to ask why are the Circus Circus clown signs in Las Vegas and Reno of such a different design? When were they first erected and who were the artists/designers.

When I was downtown I noticed the neon signs on Fremont East between El Cortez and Fremont Experience. The red high-heel shoe is interesting. What hotel did that come from? The Silver Slipper is one of my favorites and I saw that in the Neon Museum and did not know that there was another shoe.

First up: "From time to time you mention Bob Stupak’s Vegas World vacation packages from the old days. I remember seeing print ads for the VW offers when I was a kid. I also remember seeing commercials featuring Telly Savalas for something called 'Players Club International.' Was this in any way Las Vegas- (or Atlantic City-) related? Was this a deal similar to the one at Vegas World?" Part II: "Was Telly Savalas a resident of Nevada? He seemed to like to gamble; he even filmed one of the ’Kojak’ episodes there."
