When I lived in Las Vegas in the late '70s, the Sahara was listed as Del Webb's Sahara and I believe there was also a property at Lake Tahoe bearing his name. Can you give some more insight and information on Del Webb's involvement with casinos?

I seem to recall Ed Sullivan hosting one of his Sunday night shows back in the day from Las Vegas. I think it was from Circus Circus. Am I dreaming?

I was wondering if Mayor Oscar Goodman ever has time to receive visitors/admirers. I just finished reading "Of Rats and Men" and have a whole new level of respect for him. It would be cool to say hello to him and get the book autographed. Any tips?

After 25 years, the corrugated steel building that my business is located in needs to be painted. It is blue. I have decided the blue on the Welcome to Las Vegas sign frame would be perfect. Does anyone know what shade of blue is used, and am I lucky enough that YESCO or the County has licensed the color to a specific paint maker, so that I could go to the jobber and get some "Welcome to Las Vegas" blue?

I read a while back that there was going to be a movie about former Las Vegas sheriff Ralph Lamb. Can you tell me if this movie is going to be made. If not are there any books on Ralph Lamb? I am very interested in the history of Las Vegas, but I can never seem to find out much information on Ralph Lamb.

Whatever happened to the "underground" at Caesars Palace. It was located beneath the Sportsbook. You could eat there in individual rooms, be visited by a roving magician, lots of thunder and lightning. It was exciting. Is it still down there or was it replaced by something?
